The hotel has a rich history and great character. Until 1262, it was a former palace owned by the noble Bulgarini family. Afterwards the building was owned by Ghinibaldo di Saracino and his wife Sapia Salvani. The old Ponzi?s tower can be seen in the hotel?s façade.
